Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat Powder Binded
It is a glass fibre chopped strand mat made from E-glass incorporating with silane coupling agent. The 50 mm long strands are held together with a styrene soluble powder binder.
Properties Good surface bonding and high strand integrity Easy air removal Good drapability Fast wet-through and wet-out Compatible with polyester, ortophtalic and vinylester resins
Applications Hand lay-up and various mechanized process e.g. tanks, pipes, silos end uses requiring relatively high chemical resistance in boat hulls next to the gel-coat to prevent blistering
